Exclusive, 100% NEW, TopFret (© ™) version of Seydel’s famous Blues SESSIONS STEEL harmonica.
The TopFret artwork was first shown at the August 2024 SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) convention.
The TopFret version of Seydel’s Blues SESSION STEEL is made in Germany, at the Seydel factory. It is 100% mechanically identical to Seydel’s standard version Blues SESSION STEEL. The only variations are, (1) the application of TopFret’s art to the mouthpiece of the comb, and (2) the color of the comb itself.
The TopFret artwork has two functions:
1) The horizontal line along with the three vertical lines, together, clearly identify the top of the harmonica, especially in low light conditions. (Fewer upside-down errors for both experts and/or beginners.)
2) The three vertical lines clearly pinpoint the location between holes 2 and 3 – holes 5 and 6 – holes 8 and 9. (Help for anyone with or without visual issues – regardless of skill level – especially helpful for beginners.)
The yellow color of the comb, and the black ink, were chosen for the highest contrast. (The ink used meets the highest EU food grade standards.)
The rest of the harmonica has all the same great features that make Seydel’s Blues SESSION STEEL the best value in high quality harps. Smooth cover-plates protect lips and facial hair from unpleasant accidents. Stainless steel reeds provide breathtaking sound and long-lasting function. The harmonica ships with Seydel’s leather pouch.
